Adelin is a corporate drone living in Brooklyn, working a less than glamorous Manhattan job that is not at all related to what she went to school for. Occasionally, this causes her distress because she was taught to, very simply, save the world. So far, that hasn’t quite panned out but we’re looking into it.
She has grandiose plans about writing and illustrating a children’s book about a hippo who, for his birthday, wants – more than anything else in the world – a pet goldfish to raise in a teacup.
While she sometimes comes across as angry, reactionary and perhaps a little naive, she likes to think she’s more sensible than the average possum. In fact, when push comes to shove in any given potentially embarassing and/or life-threatening situation, her (sensible) advice is to cut to the chase – skip the rolling over and just play dead.
